The process has begun! Decided to add some details, setup some basic lines and did a quick palette test. So after this weekend(Mother's day = busy weekend) I'll be able to add details, especially the ones for the unfinished monster arm design. So I will be updating this post specifically since it's where I'm posting the steps of this character design.

Assuming I'm almost done finalizing the details and will probably be adding the final color soon.

Probably the final palette test before I do a final render.

Three Random Concepts

Sooo....Here's three random concepts I'd like to render in detail, but right now they're just quick doodles.
A) A forest monster.
B) The floating torso man, is my idea of what a genie would look like.
C) A female pirate character.

Sketch Dump O_O

Been off the drawing grid WAY longer than planned, so did a quick warm up to get back in the swing of things. Planning to do some rendered things soon, but I have to shake off some cobwebs.

Exhausted

Will be trying to post something on saturday(but may need to wait till later in the week), I've been busy with full-time substitute teaching and it's just killing my free time. Also I've been having some random medical issues as of late, so waiting for it to blow over a little.

Sooooo.....I took a shot at doodling a Wonder Woman picture. It's essentially her New 52 look with just a few tweaks. Maybe I'll do a render of this drawing. Never drawn a comic character before, usually just draw original stuff or tv cartoon characters. @_@

So the image above is a project I designed back in high school and now I'm deciding to revamp the drawing for fun. You can't see the whole image because I had to crop it when creating slides for the portfolio I used to apply for college, but this head is floating in a jar that has a face.

Here is the rough concept I doodled and plan to render a final image sometime this week.

        So I'm planning to start posting new work in the near future, which kinda has me excited because my drawing life has hit a mental block hence the absence lol

I've been watching a lot of tv (I watch two shows simultaneously because apparently I have like ADHD from what others tell me) But even though I watch multiple shows at once I'm still able to follow them really easily.
Shows I'm into at the moment:

Sherlock
Doctor Who
Arrow(watched 36 episodes in like 2 days)
Orphan Black
Suits
Party Animals(8 episodes, UK series)
Skins(UK, just watch series 1-2, 19 eps, the rest is crap)
Being human US(Trying out the UK version periodically)

There's others, I just gave a quick list of shows that are consistent in quality during the runs I've seen. Then there's my love for UK series in general, so I have a lot of shows I've been dabbling in.

Maybe I'll post my current DVD list on here at some point, so you get an idea of how random my taste is in general. But I have about 370 Movies and TV shows on DVD so it might be too much to post.

Combat Priya

Toying around with a costume design, while also experimenting with an anime-ish style. Which anime is a pain in the ass to draw since it has to be very precise otherwise the character's face looks wrong =___=

Oh back to anime, I recommend Sword Art Online because it's well animated and the story is quite good. It's a little dark plot wise but it's a fun 25 episodes.

Rough Sketchy Color/Height Test aka Filler Post XD

     So due to turkey day craziness, I've been preoccupied with cooking duties @__@ Because of which my down time has been meh and I've decided to take a sec to throw this together. I haven't settled on the style for my cast here but the color scheme should stay pretty much the same and the costumes won't change too drastically from this loose concept(the fitting and detail will be more defined.) I really just wanted to set up their basic height relation to each other but the style they are scribbled in is really just a blank sloppy concept XD Probably some time after Thanksgiving I will post the same pic with the final designs instead of this sloppy mess ^____^

Oh enjoy their names XD I'm trying to stay away from boring names and the villains in my story get really cool names or at least names I think are cool.
